Monstera adansonii, or the Swiss Cheese Plant, is a stunning and sought-after houseplant cherished for its intriguing leaves. The foliage of this plant features large, heart-shaped leaves adorned with intricate, natural holes and splits, reminiscent of Swiss cheese, hence its charming common name. These holes not only add a distinct visual appeal but also contribute to the plant's ability to tolerate low light conditions in its natural habitat.

 
Botanical Name: Monstera adansonii 'Swiss Cheese Plant'

LIGHT: The Monstera Adansonii prefers bright indirect light. It can survive in lower light conditions but growth may slow. Keep out of direct sunlight for extended periods, as it can burn the leaves.

WATER: This philodendron prefers rich soil that is amended with peat moss and kept fairly moist during the growing season. During the winter this plant likes to dry out a little more between watering, however, water when the top 1” to 2” of soil is dry during the spring and summer.

TOXICITY: Toxic to pets if ingested.The leaves contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals, which may cause discomfort if ingested. Therefore, it's advisable to keep this plant out of the reach of pets and children.
