Celebrate Thinking of You Week 2022 with Paper Luxe

Back for another year at Paper Luxe, it’s once again time for Thinking of You Week! This international celebration is all about using the joy of greeting cards to send love and encouragement to those on your mind. This year, Thinking of You Week will run from Sept. 19-25. 

As a card shop, we know firsthand how impactful a card and its words can be. There’s such a lovely element of surprise in unexpectedly receiving a card that makes its recipient feel instantly loved. So, whether you plan to send encouraging words to a family member, reconnect with a college pal, or just have the funniest story to share with an out-of-state friend, the power of a card can't be understated. 

Thinking of You Week was first started in 2014 by the trade body for the British greeting card community, the Greeting Card Association. The Association started Thinking of You Week to "harness the emotional power of cards, to create a wave of love, caring and happiness around the world, by encouraging everyone to send cards to different people during the week." During Thinking of You Week, we here at Paper Luxe urge everyone to put pen to paper and send some handwritten love. 

After all, while texting, phone calls, DMs, and emails have taken over as primary sources of communication, there’s still an aspect of thoughtfulness that only a handwritten letter can possess.
