Thinking of You Week: What it is and How You Can Join

As a stationary store, we might be the tiniest (alright, a lot) biased, but we think one of the best ways to show someone some love is through sending a good ol' fashioned card. Stamp and all. There's something so simple yet wonderfully surprising about flipping through the usual mail pile of bills and advertisements to find a hand addressed envelope from a loved one. 

To encourage the sending of cards, Paper Luxe is proud and ecstatic to be participating in Thinking of You Week. This week long practice of sending out greeting cards was first started in 2014 by the trade body for the British greeting card community, the Greeting Card Association. The Association started Thinking of You Week to "harness the emotional power of cards, to create a wave of love, caring and happiness around the world, by encouraging everyone to send cards to different people during the week." 

So, during Thinking of You Week, we encourage you to take the time to sit down with pen and paper and write to someone who's been on your mind. Whether that be a family member, college pal, or out-of-state friend, let them know you've been thinking of them. You can share life updates, a funny story, or even throw in an old photograph, should you feel so inclined. All that matters is your cards recipient feels encouraged and loved through your words.
