Our Winter Stamp Carving + Crafting workshop is truly an original and will be led by our own Brooke Goans of Originals Paper Art (and wonderful team member at Paper Luxe Gig Harbor). This seasonal workshop is second in a series of four, however if you didn’t participate in the previous workshop you’re welcome to join us.
Winter Stamp Carving+Crafting is a TWO NIGHT WORKSHOP. The first night you’ll carve three winter-themed stamps and the second you’ll make four designed stationery items using your original carved stamps.
Do you remember block carving in art class? It was so much fun using tools to bring your ideas to life, right? Night one join Brooke at The Kindship Studio in Uptown, Gig Harbor and awaken the artist within for Originals’ version of winter stamp carving. This is a hands-on, step-by-step workshop in which you will carve three rubber blocks into three winter-themed stamps.
Night two you’ll return to the studio and create three pre-designed greeting cards and one set of seasonal stationery with envelopes. You will leave with your own original rubber stamps, designer stationery, and the knowledge of how to duplicate the process at home.
ALL supplies (carving tool, rubber blocks, art paper, beautiful envelopes and ink pads) are included in your registration fee.
Please note if we do not have a minimum of 6 people registered for the workshop, we will cancel and refund your registration fee. We do ask that participants under the age of 18 be accompanied by a registered adult at all times. Workshop tickets are NOT refundable/exchangeable, but are transferable to another person should you not be able to attend.
