Aloe sedna is a slow-growing plant that can reach a height of 12 inches. The leaves of Aloe sedma are arranged in a rosette and are dark green in color. The leaves are covered in small, sharp teeth.

Aloe sedna prefers full sun or partial shade and well-draining soil. Water the plant when the soil is dry to the touch. Aloe sedma is not frost-tolerant and should be brought indoors during the winter.

Botanical Name: Aloe 'Sedna'

LIGHT: Bright light, with some direct sun in winter. Keep aloe vera out of hot, direct sunlight in summer, which can scorch its leaves. It's a good idea to rotate your plant each week to expose all sides to sunlight for even growth. Fast draining soil is the best for this plant.

WATER: Spring through fall, water thoroughly, allowing the potting medium to almost dry out before watering again. Don't allow water to settle in the rosette of leaves because they easily rot. Water sparingly in winter when growth is slower. Do not allow the soil to dry out completely, however. When aloe vera is too dry the leaves will wrinkle.

TOXICITY: Toxic to pets when ingested. Plant contains anthraquinones in sap, which can cause vomiting, lethargy, and abdominal pain.
