This soup has been the number one seller since day one. Maybe it’s because of the cheese filled tortellini sourced from the best noodle makers in Italy or the beef flavor made right here in Rill's factory or maybe the delightful blend of Italian spices. Whatever the reason this Italian flavor red broth soup is one of our favorites and hopefully it’ll be one of your too!

Available in Small (Serves 2)

FOR SMALL -

You will need:

  • 8 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 lb Italian Sausage

Includes:

  • 1 Spice packet

Directions:

1. In a 4 Quart saucepan brown sausage and drain fat.
2. Add 3 1/2 cups water and both spice packets, bring to a boil.
3. Add tomato sauce and tortellini noodles. Return to a boil.
4. Reduce to low, cover and cook for 30 minutes or until noodles are tender.
5. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve.

Crockpot Directions:
Add 3 1/2 C. water, the entire soup mix, tomato sauce and meat to the slow cooker. Cook on low for 2.5 to 5 hours. Salt and pepper to taste. The longer you leave the soup in the slow cooker the more the noodles will expand. Enjoy!

Vegetable Overload: 10-15 minutes before the soup is finished, add add 1/2-1 C zucchini mushrooms, or bell peppers.
Mix up the Meat: Use Kielbasa, ground turkey or beef
Mix up the Tomato: Replace tomato sauce with 8-oz. can chopped or Italian stewed tomatoes.
