Selenicereus anthonyanus, or Zig Zag Cactus, is a remarkable cactus known for its unusual growth pattern. The stems of this plant grow in a zigzag fashion, resembling the shape of a fishbone, hence its alternative name Fishbone Cactus. The stems are flat and leaf-like, with deep indentations and ridges that give them a textured appearance. The edges of the stems are often adorned with small spines.
LIGHT: Thrives in indirect light but can tolerate periods of bright sun.
WATER: Zig Zag Cactus houseplant does best when allowed to dry out between watering. During winter, cut watering in half and then reinstate when spring growth begins
TOXICITY: Non-toxic to pets and humans.
